It all started with a nude selfie… And in a weird, random turn of events, Amber Rose recently came her ex’s current wife Kim Kardashian’s defense after the nude selfie seen round the Twittersphere received its own share of backlash last week. Amber caught up with the Daily Beast on Monday where she talked about the double standards she, along with Kim, deal with constantly because of her stripper past and Kim’s sex tape.
Following up on Pink’s recent comments, Amber held nothing back with the Daily Beast, saying QUOTE, “If we could sing, it would be OK if we were on stage half-naked. We all love Beyoncé, but she’s on stage half-naked and twerking all the time, yet people say, ‘Oh, she has talent so she’s able to do that.’ We don’t have the talent that Beyoncé has, so we get criticized as former sex workers, but at the end of the day we’re just women — we’re all women — and we should all embrace each other.”
The Beyhive began swarming after Amber’s comments, when they infamously hacked her Instagram and Twitter with the bee emoji followed by harsh comments. She quickly came to her own defense via Twitter, writing, “Wait y’all not about to (beyhive) Muva Lol When I’m apart of the Beyhive! TF? I mentioned her cuz she is the most talented and beautiful…..
She finished her statement by writing, “Was just speaking on Classism. Look it up maybe it applies to ur life. Don’t take my words out of context. I cried twice when I met her Lol”
And Beyonce, who is known to steer clear from the feud scene, has yet to comment, seeing that Amber, being a Bey fan, was simply trying to make a point, but I want to hear what you guys think about Amber’s comments. Were they completely uncalled for or does she have a point?
