People love commenting on celebrity bodies, especially female celebrities. Though many praise celebrities, many also try to bring them down. In the age of instant news and social media, negative comments reach celebrities very quickly. No celebrity is spared, and skeptics will always find something.

Celebrities don’t let body-shamers affect them, they choose to rise above it. Celebrities promote body-positivity and inclusivity. Audrey O’Day had unflattering pictures published, but Audrey claimed the woman in the photos was not her. Adele’s recent Instagram post has been a topic of decision. Rather than focusing on her weight, people should focus on her accomplishments. Models, Gigi Hadid, Ashley Graham, Chrissy Teigen, Winnie Harlow and Tyra Banks have had body-shamers commenting on their bodies their whole career. Tennis superstar Serena Williams became a strong advocate for body positivity because of the comments she received. Selena Gomez had her surgery scars criticized. Jennifer Lopez often deals with ageism, but she proves it’s not a thing. Disney stars, Demi Lovato and Hilary Duff had unhealthy habits to deal with the pressures to look perfect. Many stars, like Lizzo, Gabourey Sidibe, and Amy Schumer are called too big, while actress Emma Stone is too thin. You really can’t please everyone.

You really need tough skin to be in Hollywood. Should people stop speculating and reporting on celebrities’ bodies? Let us know what you think in the comments! Don’t forget to like this video and subscribe to keep up to date with pop culture. Turn on notifications so you don’t miss anything!
